When the light returned, Edward found himself in a completely different place. He didn't know how he got there, but from the look of his surroundings, he was in a women's restroom. He guessed that it was a women's restroom, because there were no urinals.
He immediately sprinted out of there, not wanting to be caught in a restroom only for females. True, back in his high school days (all those years ago) he always wanted to see what it was like in the girl's restroom, but he had matured quite a bit since then. And to tell the truth, the girl's restroom wasn't really all that different than the boy's restroom, except for the lack of urinals and, of course, the girl's restroom had girls.
The moment he exited the restroom, his face flushed a bit, seeing a group of guys standing nearby. They saw him come out. He was sure of it. Maybe he could convince them that it was just a mistake. Wherever he was, he had never been there before, so he didn't know his way around. It seemed totally understandable that he walked into the wrong restroom. Except ... he didn't remember walking in there. One moment he was in his daughter's bedroom, and then the next ...
The group of teenage guys began walking towards him, diverting him from his thoughts. They seemed pleased to see him, although he wasn't exactly sure why. Then one of them said something totally unexpected and definitely inappropriate, especially to someone like him.
"Hey, bitch. You are looking so hot today," the boy said, with a leer.
"Excuse me?" Edward asked, astonished. "Listen, I don't know who you are, but no one talks to me like that. You should be ashamed of ..." Before he could finish, though, another boy slapped him on his butt. He spun around and glared at the kid. What the hell was wrong with these guys?
"We can talk to you however the fuck we want, bitch," said the boy who had slapped him. Then the rest of the guys began laughing, before walking away. But the boy who slapped him stayed for a moment and leaned in towards his ear. "You'll be mine soon enough, you slut." Then he walked away and joined the others.
Edward just stood there, both shocked and appalled. What the hell was going on?
