You decide to cut off Chloe’s head. Sure, it seems drastic but what the hell? This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity, might as well see what happens.
Setting the blade to white, you cut through Chloe’s neck effortlessly while avoiding her short blond hair. There doesn’t seem to be any indication that you actually did cut through her neck, her head didn’t fall off or anything. You decide to put away the katana and take Chloe’s head off, which actually works. A white glowing disc shines on top of her headless neck.
Setting your friend’s head down on a nearby food court table, you unfreeze time.
“So what do you wa-“ Chloe’s head says before her body pauses, feels her neck stump and turns around. “I don’t remember leaving my head over there!”
“Yeah, I was gonna tell you not to forget it since you got so excited you left it behind.” You play along.
Chloe picks up her head and tucks it underneath her arm. “Well, it wouldn’t be the first time!” She says. “Anyways, so what do you wanna do?”
