I took out a horseshoe, a pair of green fuzzy dice and a rabbit's foot and made my way back to everybody else.
Zoe would probably like the rabbit's foot best.
The dice look like toys, so they go to Mikey.
That leaves the horseshoe for mom.
"Hey guys, I got a bunch of lucky charms in a yard sale yesterday. I thought maybe you guys wanted some" I suggested to them as they were all still in the kitchen.
"That's lovely John, what a nice gesture. I'm sure I'll be extra lucky today." Mom said and took the horseshoe. "I guess I'll just put it in my pocket for now."
Next I handed the foot to Zoe. "Uhhhm, okay. It's kinda dark carrying around an animals leg... I like it. Thanks." Zoe attached the foot to a chain on her outfit.
"Yeah, I thought you'd like it." I agreed and took the dice to give to Mikey. "Here's a pair of dice for you, Mikey. I hope you can use them."
"Sure. Thanks." he replied shortly and tied them to a belt loop on his pants, where they dangled to the side.
That's part of the family done. When I was about to leave I remembered I forgot a charm to give to Karyn and went back to get one and left for school afterwards.
