It was a week into summer vacation, and it was after school. Not after the school day... after high school. Jon and his clone were in their room, discussing things.

"I still can't believe it's all over," said Jonnie. "School and all. Next up is college. Which reminds me. How are we going to manage that anyway? No, don't tell me. I know the answer."

"Wishes," said Jon.

"Of course," replied Jonnie. "Wishes. We just go there and wish me a place in the same class I'm in. It's too bad I wasn't around until after you finished applying. But I remember applying. Really, both of us applied, and both of us got accepted. We're both Jon."

"Yeah," said Jon. "Now we need to figure out the living arrangements. Let's see... I think opposite sex roommates makes the most sense. But I don't know if they allow that."

"I bet they don't," said Jonnie. "We could try married student housing, but we're not married. And doing that would feel really weird."

I bet Karyn would say its cheating our way out of learning life lessons. You're not supposed to be able to try out a marriage like that. Except maybe by living together, and we already are."

"Besides," said Jonnie, "can you marry your clone? You can't marry yourself and you can't marry a relative, and we have to count as one of those... Unless we wish it different, of course. Funny how that's the answer to everything."

"If you're going to suggest that we put away the stone for a while, we can't," said Jon. It's part of our lives now. It made your life."

"I only need it for the college," explained Jonnie. "And one other thing..."
