Drew slowly opened the door to his parents' house, nervous to see the chaos that was likely inside...
Nothing.
Drew looked around. It seemed like there was no one around. Even the family dog Bubbles was nowhere to be found. Drew walked into the kitchen found a note taped to the counter. He picked it up and quickly read it.
"Drew - got an earlier flight to Florida. House is yours for the week. If your could put the laundry in the drier that would be great!"
"Sweet," Drew said, tossing the note in the trash. House to himself... this could be good. He grabbed a drink out of the fridge and dropped onto the couch to flip through TV channels.
A couple hours later, Drew heard the drier alarm go off. He had gone ahead and dealt with the laundry - mostly out of the desire to do his own laundry for free later in the week. As he got up to empty the drier, he didn't notice the Medallion fall out of his pocket.
Drew dropped the laundry onto the couch and turned to go back for another drink... and slammed his leg into the side of the coffee table. He screamed in pain and dropped onto the couch, grabbing at his shin. As he tried to calm from the shock, he put his hand down in the clean laundry. As he did, he felt the telltale metallic feeling of the Medallion and felt a shock go through his body.
Drew fished out the Medallion, staring at it in shock. As he glared at it and felt shocks coursing through his body, Drew realized three things.
First, he was changing into someone.
Second, he had no idea who he was changing into.
Third... he now had larger problems than a bruised shin.
