She had some time, but she had to go somewhere else. Where should she go?
Karyn had an immediate thought, but then dismissed it. No. She couldn't go there. She couldn't possibly. But somehow now that the idea was in her head, she couldn't think of anywhere else. The adrenaline was still in her, forcing her to focus on one solution whether or not it was the best, and go all-in.
So after a few moments of internal conflict, she went all-in.
"I wish I was in Sarah McMillan's bedroom with this stone." It was probably the last place they'd look.
And in a flash, she was there.
The room was big. And pink. And it screamed Sarah McMillan so loudly that just standing in it made Karyn a little uncomfortable. There were two twin beds pushed up against each other, big pink blankets covering them both. There was a wide, white dresser about three feet high whose top was littered with nail polish and makeup. The curtains were pink. The closet was huge. Everything felt like it was out of a film set.
This room defined Sarah McMillan. And now, Karyn realized, it defined Jon as well. Kara. That headache again.
It wasn't enough that Sarah had taken her best friend, she had to steal him and practically steal her own name, too! Well, maybe it was Karyn's turn to do some stealing. If this bedroom defined them...
"I wish that any time I make a change to this room, it reflects on and changes the girls who live in it."
Now, how to change the room?
