After Jon walked back to his house, Karyn and Zoe approached him, still holding hands (Zoe looked less gothic than in the normal reality, but Karyn seemed a bit more gothic ... maybe that's why they paired up?).
"What's going on down there?" Karyn asked, pointing towards the naked guy running down the street and the other naked guy following after him. "Who are those guys?"
"Doug Stevenson and Steve Mitchell," Jon said.
"Steve Mitchell?" Zoe asked. "You mean that straight guy that lives down the street?"
"Ugh. I hate straights," Karyn said. "They're so disgusting. Men should be with men and women with women. That's how it's always been and how it should always be. Just ask my moms." She turned towards Jon, seeing an odd expression on his face. "What's with you?"
What's with Jon was that he was still straight, because his wish didn't affect him. But it seemed that (for some reason) Karyn didn't know that. Maybe in this new reality, Jon hadn't yet "come out of the closet"? Given Karyn's distaste for straights, he wondered if maybe he should remain silent about his sexuality.
