They sat around for an hour or so trying to figure out a way to get things back to what Jon called normality (this reality was normality to Karyn). But it was a dead end. There was no way that they could reverse things. It was getting late, so they decided to discuss more about it the next day.
This was a problem for Jon. Jon's mom (who was now Karyn's mom) wouldn't let Jon stay over, so he had to go home (what used to be Karyn's home). It was strange walking to Karyn's house, which was now Jon's house. He walked up the walkway to the front door and rang the doorbell. A woman opened the door. It was Karyn's mom ... well, now it's Jon's mom.
"Jon? Did you lose your key? Come on in, honey. Dinner's ready and your father will be home soon."
Jon walked into his "new" house.
