Suddenly he was standing on the other side of the door, which opened, revealing a teenage girl his age, wearing a female version of what he was wearing. "Told you I would just be a minute," she said, walking down the hall and turning into his room.
He froze...the girl looked exactly like his mother... He looked down at himself, and gasped. "Shit," he said, shocked at the female voice coming out of him...and the female body it came out of. Jon hurried into the bathroom and closed the door.
A middle-aged female Jon stared back from the mirror. Jon frowned. If he had switched lives with his Mom...why was she not a boy? Then it occurred to him. He'd wished to switch lives with his Mom. A Mom by definition is female. But a child could be either male or female...
How was he...or rather she...going to get out of this mess? Jon didn't want to be a middle-aged mother of three.
