Karyn rolled a five and advanced his piece to space 12. He took his card and red it aloud.
"Fair warning: as a special incentive to roll well, the last person to finish will be stuck with what they've got."
Everyone grumbled. It seemed an unfair judgment passed by the game. There was more, for Karyn's turn.
"Karyn has a little bit of a yellow streak. For his fear of coming onto Jon until the game - when it was very clear they wanted it long before - Karyn will have to sit out one round, in the body of a chicken."
A look of terror bolted through his eyes. A puff of smoke later and Karyn's seat was occupied by a little red rooster. He flapped his wings and crowed a little bit.
"Karyn!" gasped Jon as the rooster pecked around the living room floor.
Mrs. Gibson advised her son-in-daughter's body, "Would you put down some corn niblets or something for your friend?" Jon reluctantly did.
Zoe's turn...
