"Now, just calm down," Jon suggested to Zoe.
"I used to be a Goth?!"
"You used to be a what?" asked a stunned Karyn.
"No. This can't be true." Zoe simply refused to believe what the stone told her.
"The stone doesn't lie, Zoe," Jon said.
Even with the knowledge and memories from her original life, Zoe didn't want any part of it. Even if it was the way she was supposed to be.
"Oh, I wish I didn't have all these memories," Zoe said, forgetting that she was holding the stone.
The wishing stone glowed and then Zoe had a blank look on her face.
"Zoe? Are you okay?" Jon asked.
"Is that my name? I can't remember anything."
Oh, nice going, Zoe, Jon thought to himself. You just gave yourself amnesia.
