Jon was flying through the halls looking for Karyn. He was surprised he didn't see Sarah by her locker like usual and worried for her.
Karyn meanwhile spotted Jon first with her sharp feline eyes and decided to surprise him. She hid around the corner and waited. Her tail swished, her body tensed as the hunched up on all fours low to the ground. When Jon flew nearbye she pounced swatting him from the air.
Jon screamed out a girly scream as the giant cat pounced, claws tore his dress as they digged into the fabric and drew him to the ground. He looked up in horror as he was a toothy feline grin looking down at him it was... Karyn!
"Why the heck did you do THAT for!" Jon shouted.
"I... I just wanted to surprise you.... I guess instincts took over." Kayn said looking embarrassed and feeling so sorry that the urge to swat a small creature out of the air took over. "Mrs. Tannenbaun keeps spare clothes for newe changees lets get you some replacements."
As Jon and Karyn talked the topic of the disease came up.
"This disease is definately not acting in a textbook manner", Jon said. "I looked it up after I changed. permanent changes should be rare. Most changes last for a week, 3 months at most but even the few temporary changes are longer. pixies are the rarest of changes but 2 of the first four changes were pixies. harpies are common but Mikey was the only harpy so far. Size changes are common but so far only the pixies size changed. People who should have got a cold equivalent that it is without changing earlier (not that it has symptoms) have changed again. It's spreading beyond the town for the first time though we KNOW the reason for that. It's breaking its own rules left and right." Jon said.
"I didn't make a disease" Karyn said under her breath. "I made a monster".
