Jon looked down at the stone, but was suddenly distracted by the new obstructions to her view; Karyn stifled a groan as her new centauress friend started playing with her breasts. A grin spread across her inhumanly beautiful face, and she forgot about the stone waiting in Karyn's hand. "Do you think people are used to seeing me like this? Topless, I mean. The stone does change reality as long as it's in effect. I wonder how I'm related to my family," she mused aloud.
"I don't know, but don't be having too much fun. It's only for ten minutes. What the hell...?" Karyn said, looking out the window at the front yard; Jon's room was upstairs. "We're ground level."
"Well, yeah, Karyn. I guess the house changed because I wouldn't do too well with stairs. My door is bigger, too... everything's wider," Jon exclaimed, walking out the door slowly, experimentally, and heading to the living room. Karyn followed holding the stone, unsure what to do with it. Everyone seemed to be the same as they were before the wish, going about their business as if their brother and son hadn't just become a female centaur. Both Mikey and her father stared at her breasts for a little too long, and quickly looked away when she noticed them looking. Well, they're probably not even my family anymore... I guess it's alright, she thought.
"Hey there, Joanna," Zoe said cheerfully, running a hand along Jon's palomino coat as she passed by.
"Joanna?" Karyn muttered to Jon under her breath.
"I guess that's my new name. Zoe seems to like me... she never gives me the time of day," Jon - Joanna, she reminded herself, if only for a few minutes - muttered back. She picked up speed as she walked through the house, and hesitated for only a moment before she opened the door and walked outside.
"Jon?" Karyn asked behind her. "Can I, uh..." she trailed off, nervous. "Can I ride you?"
"It's Joanna for now. And sure! It should be a fun experience for both of us," she replied, turning her torso back to grin at Karyn. With that she knelt down on her hind legs, heaving back up with surprisingly little difficulty.
"Aah!" Karyn squealed, losing her balance. Jon reached her hands back and up, and pulled Karyn forward as she clasped her wrists.
"Put your arms around me," Joanna offered, and as Karyn wrapped her arms around her human waist, she started to walk, amazed at how easily she could hold her friend's weight. "How long has it been? You did check the clock, right?" she asked several minutes later, as they walked around the block in no particular direction.
"Yeah, of course I checked the clock. I made the wish at 10:41. It's been..." Karyn stopped, pulling one arm loose to check her cell phone. Joanna felt her friend become dead weight as she sagged down.
"What? What is it?" In response, Karyn waved the phone in her peripheral vision. She stopped to grab it, and paled as she looked at the clock, which read 10:54. "Oh, shit..."
