"I think I'll try this," Jon said, walking over to a somewhat large version of a beveled eraser (and it was gold-colored, instead of the traditional pink). He picked it up.
On the slip of paper resting beside it, there was a brief description of the object. It was the Magic Eraser. The instructions were as follows:

Simply use the eraser to omit words or images displayed in photos, magazines, books, etc.

Once something has been erased, it will be as if whatever the eraser was used on was always like that. Reality will change in accordance.

Only the person using the eraser will remember how things were before the change in reality.
It didn't take much for Jon to realize that this eraser thing could be very dangerous. Erase something and irreparably change reality? Yeah, that sounded like bad news. But maybe if Jon was careful, he could perhaps change things for the better? He just hoped that no one else got their hands on something like this. It could be disastrous. Although, if anyone else did use it to change reality, Jon wouldn't notice.
