"I think I'll try this," Jon said, walking over to a pocket stopwatch and picking it up.
On the slip of paper, resting beside it, there was a brief description of the object. It was the Stopwatch of Transience. The instructions were as follows:

Simply click the button at the top of the stopwatch.

Time will freeze for everyone except the one holding the stopwatch.

To return to normal time, simply click the button at the top of the stopwatch a second time.
WARNING: If time is frozen for more than 10 minutes-worth of normal time, it will be impossible to unfreeze time until after an hour-worth of normal time has passed.
Jon lifted it up and looked at it. It looked just like one of those pocket watches from the 19th century.
He sat on his bed, wondering where to try it first.
