Suddenly, but not unexpectedly, there was a knock at Jon's bedroom door. And a second later, he heard his mom's voice.
"Jon, are you okay in there? I heard a crashing sound."
"I'm okay, Mom. Really. My, um, TV just fell off my desk."
"Why did you put your TV on your desk? Isn't it too heavy? That TV is expensive, Jon. You should really be more careful with it."
Well, that settled it. Apparently, reality did change for everyone, just like with the wishing stone.
