Jon stared at the girl on the paper for a long moment before responding. "I can't believe this."
"You don't seem as pleased I thought you'd be," Karyn said.
"How could I be pleased about this? I turn into a ... cat girl? Why couldn't I be someone, like, I don't know. Maybe like Superman?"
"Well, it's too late now, Jon. That's who you become."
Jon was in shock. Not only does he turn into a girl, but he turns into a weird cat-version of a girl.
"It won't be so bad, Jon. In fact, I think you'll like it."
Suddenly, Jon began to change. "Huh? What's happening?"
"There must be something near us that's piquing your interest," Karyn said. "As a cat, I mean."
And after only a few seconds, Jon became Jennifer, the Super Cat-Girl.
"How do feel?" Karyn asked.
Jennifer purred. "I'm hungry. I smell fish." She ran to her window, opened it, and jumped out. Landing two floors down wasn't a problem with her new cat-like reflexes. She immediately got down on all fours and ran away.
Karyn called out after her. "Wait! Come back!" But Jennifer wasn't listening. She was hungry.
