Karyn/Athena looked back down at the device and turned it around in her hands, accidentally pressing the button again. It was pointed at Jon/Zoe.
But nothing happened. She scratched her head, trying to figure out why it changed Zoe's mom, but not Zoe.
Jon/Zoe stormed over to her and grabbed the device out of her hand and threw it on the living room sofa. "Come on, let's go."
Karyn/Athena looked back at the device lying on the sofa, and decided she could always try and figure the thing out later. She intended coming by later that night anyway.
Of course, by the time that happened, the three hours would be over and Karyn and Athena would be separated.
Jon/Zoe, Karyn/Athena, and Jane/Zelda headed off to the Goth club.
