"...This time I want to see what happens when we use this remote when there's a lot of people around," Karyn said.
"Wait, you said that was the last one. I'm not sure I'm comfortable having my identity messed with like this."
"Don't worry, this'll be the last one. But it can wait. In fact, I'm not going to tell you when or where I'm going to do it. But it will be sometime before the end of school."
"I guess I don't have much of a choice, as long as you have the remote."
"That's right. And don't even think about trying to take it from me, either, or you can expect to spend the next week as a completely different person."
"Okay, fine. Let's just get to class now."
Jon's Perspective:
The two us headed to our separate classes. I sat, paranoid as to what might happen. Sure, Karyn was in another room, but that didn't mean she couldn't zap me between classes, or during lunch. Finally, I made it through my classes and it was time for lunch. The halls were crowded, as usual. I looked around, but there was no sign of Karyn. Biff Meadows was right ahead of me, Meredith Walters(arguably the school's most well-known skater-chick) was right behind me, and the nerdy Kevin Jones was to my right. Droves of people passed on my left, too many to identify. I heard some scuffling from behind, as Sarah and her cronies, Brooke and Vicky, forced their way through the crowd, determined to be first in the lunch line. I was about to say something to Sarah, when suddenly I spied Karyn out of the corner of my eye. "Zap!" she said, as she brought her finger down on the remote, which was aimed directly at me...
