There was a knock on Karyn's door, but before she could get up, Jonnie rushed into her house. Karyn looked and admired Jonnie's slender physique. Her tall, curved body was perfect for her skin-tight costume. Her long brown locks teased Karyn; they reminded her of her old hair.
"Jonnie-Girl, when you turned yourself into a superhero, you sure did it good."
"Well, except for the part where I was turned into a girl."
"You DO own a lot of hygiene products, though. Maybe the stone just assumed . . ."
Jon shook her head. "Is it so wrong to be clean?" She flopped down on the nearest couch. "Still, what am I going to do about these?" She indicated the mounds sitting on her chest.
"I might be able to help better if I knew what exactly you wished for."
"I wished I could 'do something to help.' That turned me into this. The, I wished that 'I knew what my powers were and how to use them.' Then, my big mistake, I wished 'everyone would accept me as being a girl.' Which, of course, means that everyone will think it's weird that I'm a guy."
"No it doesn't."
"Huh?"
"Gimme the stone," Karyn put her hand out and Jonnie gave her the Wishing Stone.
"I wish Jon would be accepted as a guy or a girl."
"Wow. I never thought of that."
"Of course not; that's why you came to me. Now let's fix your predicament." Karyn thought for a moment, "I wish that Miss Amazing was Jon's Alter Ego. I wish that whenever Jon put on the Miss Amazing's mask, he became Miss Amazing. I wish that whenever Miss Amazing took off her mask, she became Jon."
The Superheroine's jaw dropped, "Karyn, you could have just turned me into Mr. Amazing and solved all my problems."
"Oh." Karyn was silent for a moment. "Well, think of it this way: who's going to think a high school boy is really a superheroine? You've got the perfect disguise."
Miss Amazing sighed. "Whatever. I just want to get some normalcy back." She took off her mask. Of course, things didn't go quite as Karyn had anticipated . . .
