"So, that's it. Well, then, Sarah McMillan, I wish that you would do anything anyone told you to do."
Sarah, who had always been beautiful and popular, always got people to do things for her. Almost anything she wanted was done for her without her ever having to lift a finger. She loved it. But, in the back of her mind, she had always felt a little sorry for the guys she got to do her bidding. They'd make themselves into mindless drones just to get a glimpse of her. She had aways thought that that was the worst fate a person could ever have.
So when this man got her to tell him her worst fear, she got spooked. It was as if this man really DID have power. Once he spoke that wish, she felt a cold chill go throughout her body. She didn't know how or why, but she knew that when this guy put her fear into the form of a wish, she knew that there were power behind the words now.
Mentally she slapped herself Get a hold of yourself Sarah. You can't show any weakness to this dumbass.
So she rolled her eyes and said "What the hell is with you? Are you some excaped mental patient or something? I gotta go. Go play your little games with somebody who has the time." She turned, and started back for her car.
"Sarah, wait" said the man. She paused, but didn't know why. He was obviously crazy and she really DID need to get going.
The man chuckled. "You didn't believe me when I said I was the most powerful person in the world, did you?"
Sarah let out a loud "HA! Who the hell would believe you?" Why was she just standing around like this? She should be at her Mom's right now, not argueing with some idiot on the street about something as stupid as this. And yet she kept this confusion hiddin and continued her retort "I mean IF you were the MOST POWERFUL man in the world, then what would you be doing here? Shouldn't you be living in some dream house in some exotic country side?"
"Money and power aren't the same, Sarah" said the man "For instance, I am just a normal highschool student living in an appartment with my mother, who is 2 months behind on her rent, and yet, I still have power to make you do anything I want."
Sarah let out another "HA" but deep down she was getting really scared. "Prove it."
"Ok, I will prove it," said the man, "Let's see here... I order you to...."
