Jon blinked as he felt a brief wave of dizziness pass through him. The wish had to have taken effect, but what else did it do?
"Jon," his mother called from downstairs, "Karyn's here."
Not sure what to expect, Jon quickly went downstairs. Standing near the front door was a worried looking Karyn, She ran up to Jon and hugged him tightly.
"Oh, Jon," she said softly, "this is all so weird. Why did I ever make that stupid wish?"
Not quite sure what to do, Jon just did what came naturally. He held the beautiful girl in his arms and stroked her soft blonde hair.
"Its okay, Karyn," he whispered. "Its not your fault."
"Yes it is," she said pulling back to look at him, her eyes filled with tears. "I was the one who was jealous of all the attention Sarah got for her looks. I don't even know why I was jealous. You've always been faithful to me and not that bimbo."
This comment certainly took Jon by surprise. It seemed that like her wish for blonde hair and big boobs, his wish to be her boyfriend had altered history in an unexpected way. It seemed that instead of wishing for changed looks to get a boy's attention, Karyn wished for them because she was worried Jon thought the cheerleader was prettier than her.
"Don't worry about it," Jon said, kissing her gently. "We can go up to my room and try fixing this mess."
