Jon's eyes wandered over to Nadine's Bible. Normally, Jon wouldn't really be interested, but given the new reality that he had created (using the magic die), he was curious to know how "the church" justified gays being the norm.
"Uh ... can I look at that?" Jon asked Nadine, pointing at her Bible.
"Sure," she said happily. She probably saw this as a win for her, but he wasn't interested in going to her church or something. He just wanted to look at the Bible. And right now, hers was the only one available.
She handed it over and he did a quick inspection of the first few chapters. The beginning was the same. God created day and night, the sky, the land and the seas, plants, the moon and the stars, the animals ... but when it got to the part about the creation of humankind, it was a bit different.
Adam and Eve were still part of the story, but there were also two others involved too. Another man and woman. From then on, it was all nearly the same. The snake deceived them and the world became full of sin ... blah, blah, blah. But the part that was obviously different was the fact that Adam and Eve were gay! Jon figured that "the church" may have only recently accepted homosexuality once it became the norm, but according to this, mankind was supposed to be homosexual and always had been since the dawn of time.
"Are you done with it?" Nadine asked.
"Uh, yeah," Jon said, handing it back.
By this time, another person entered the classroom. This time it was a guy.
