Eric had fully intended on wearing Steve's t-shirt and jeans. They were what he would have worn that morning, after all, when he was in his previously male body. Sure, they would have been ill-fitting, but Eric was done with his female body, and felt no need to show it off anymore.
Once he'd entered Steve's sister's room, however, things had changed. Walking into the girl's room, Eric began to feel a sense of comfort that he hadn't expected. It was as if a girl's bedroom was a natural place for him to be, a safe environment that he could really relax.
Must be a side effect of holding the medallion for so long, he thought, just like the note had said.
He tossed the jeans and t-shirt on the neatly made bed and surveyed the room. Out of curiosity, he crossed to the closet and began to rifle through the clothes. It never occurred to him that he shouldn't be snooping, that he was intruding on Steve's sister's privacy. Instead, his mind was aflame, fingers touching fabrics, imagining himself in each article.
Absentmindedly, he pulled a purple sweater and black skirt from their hangers and placed them on the bed next to the jeans and t-shirts. Then he opened a few drawers until he found a pair of panties and bra, both which he was glad were in his size. Again, Eric's mind was so focused on the clothes that he never noticed that he knew his new body's size so intimately, nor that he was willingly dressing in girl clothes. It all just seemed so natural to him.
When he crossed the hall and walked into Steve's room again, Eric tossed the jeans and t-shirt back on Steve's bed, still folded, unworn.
"Uh... Steve?" Eric asked "I found something better than you gave me, that's not a problem is it?"
"uhhhhh... no." Eric's friend said, mouth agape as he stared at his friend, "No problem at all....."
It was then that Eric realized what he had done. His face blushed as he saw his Steve's eyes inspect his body, more than a hint of lust in his eyes. Eric wanted to cover up, but didn't want to draw any attention to how vulnerable he suddenly felt.
"Eyes are up here," he said, a joking tone in his voice, "Stop checking out my body suit."
Steve shook his head, as if clearing cobwebs. He blinked a few times, then stammered.
"Um, look, dude..." Steve said, "I can't find the keys anywhere. I swore I had a set, but maybe I gave them back to you."
"Shit," Eric replied, his hand resting on his hip, glancing at the clock, "It's way to late for me to go home tonight. My parents will kill me if I wake them up, and besides, I hadn't told them about the... body suit..."
Eric's voice trailed off, imagining the conversation he'd have to have with his parents, explaining his current body.
"You can crash here!" Steve said, a little too eager, "I'll put on some movies, and we've got beer in the fridge. It'll be awesome."
Eric smiled at the generosity of his friend. Steve had always been such a supportive guy. Really, Eric was lucky to have him.
"You got it," Eric said, smiling, swaying out of the room, "I'll get the beer, you put on the movie. I'll see you in the living room!"
