Michael's dad thought of what to do next and decided to call the FBI. This was way too big of a thing for the local PD to deal with. And after an hour, the FBI showed up in their black cars.
Special Agent Myers tested out the county cop's theory by moving his arm over the "threshold" of the town. Afterwards, he told his fellow agents and the local police to do the same, as they spraypainted a line on the ground where the edge of the town was. He told them to absolutely NOT walk into the town. This was a potentially life-threatening situation, he told them. Myers didn't know that for sure, but he wasn't taking any chances.
As the painting of the city limits were underway, Myers decided what to do next. This was a very strange situation. And because it was strange, it was attracting media attention. He called for more men to cordon off the area around the town. It would be difficult, but not impossible.
Meanwhile, at Jon's house, Jon and Karyn franticly looked around his bedroom for the stone, not knowing the Zoe had it with her since that morning.
