Zoe decided not to change their memories. She still had time before the next morning, so she decided to wait. Jon and Zoe went back to their house, along with Karyn.
But what the three of them didn't know was that something was happening on the outskirts of town at that exact moment.
Fred Thomson had some time off from work and he was spending it with his 12-year old son Will. They were out in a field just outside the city limits throwing around a football. Fred and his son got along pretty well. And Will was a good kid. So, spending time with Will was a thing to look forward to.
Anyway, Fred was readying himself to throw a long pass to his son. So he yelled to Will to run further away.
So, Will ran and ran ... and ran over the city limits.
Fred yelled to his son that he'd have to run further, but Will didn't move. Thinking that his son was in trouble, Fred ran over to his son. Then he stopped and stared in shock.
"Will? What ... what happened to you?"
"Nothing," Will answered. "I'm fine."
Apparently, anyone who enters the town becomes a Goth and thinks that it's normal. But what if they leave? Do they return back to normal or do they stay as a Goth forever?
