When school was out, Jon and Karyn left in a hurry, along with the rest of the students. Walking home with Zoe, they discussed what they should do next. The effects of the die would only last for another 16 hours, all the way until about 7 AM the next morning (or so they thought).
Zoe was thinking about something else. She liked what she saw at school. All the people that made fun of her for being a Goth were now a Goth themselves. It was like a dream come true. She thought that once the next 16 hours were over and Jon and Karyn saw that this reality was still here, they might try to ruin it for her.
Zoe had to make a choice. Either use the stone to make Jon and Karyn think that this reality was normal or try to reason with them when the time came. Jon was her brother. She didn't want to brainwash him. But, technically, he had already brainwashed the entire town, so brainwashing him, she supposed, wasn't all that bad. What should Zoe do?
