Eric walked into the gymnasium where the party was now in full swing. Unlike the typical lamer high school dance, this gig was one of "the" events of the year; only prom matched up to it. He recognized the song playing right off the bat, "Let Forever Be" by The Chemical Brothers. Eric had one of their albums and thought they were pretty cool. Shannon leaned over to him.

"If you want to be the popular girl at the party, you have to make a good first impression!"

With that, Shannon grabbed Eric by the arm and pulled him onto the dance floor. Normally, he could've easily resisted her, but sensing his new body would only be able to break even with his sister, Eric followed willingly. It must've been interesting for everyone to see a Catholic school girl drag an Old West Showgirl through the crowd of dancing teens. Without even starting to dance, Eric and Shannon could already feel the gaze of several guys bearing down on them.

"I know you have two left feet Eric, but do your best to follow my lead. We'll have them eating from the palm of our hands."

Shannon's body started flowing to the music in almost perfect sync as if her body was an instrument in the hands of a skilled musician. Eric was stunned momentarily as if he felt there was no way to match her. As if on cue, however, he started to match her move for move. He'd never been able to dance well at all before, but it was almost as if his body had a mind of its own.

"Damn Eric, you're picking this up well. Alright... time to make some boys drool," Shannon whispered to her brother.

Shannon started dancing closer and closer to Eric to the point where there was scarcely air between their bodies. He was amazed that despite their lack of practice together that they were coordinating so well. Moving smoothly and sensually to the music, they were almost on top of each other, but they had yet to bump or touch.

"Did the medallion change more than just my form?" Eric wondered. "This is too unreal."

The DJ seemlessly fused the end of one song into the beginning of the next. By the time he finally cut in to say a few words almost 30 minutes had passed. Eric and Shannon pulled away from each other slowly almost stunned by the moment that had just passed between them. Finally unlocking their gaze, Eric noticed that a sufficiently large crowd had watched the dance unfold.

"Well, if I wanted to get some attention, I most definitely did that." Eric thought to himself.

Shannon was amazed by her brother's performance. "Since when could he dance like that?" she mused. "And I know a ton of girls who couldn't do what he just did in a costume and heels like that his." Deciding it wasn't the right time to confront her brother with her questions, she suggested to him that they go get a drink and mingle a bit.

Feeling a bit confused and unsure of himself, Eric had no problem taking a break from dancing. A drink would be the perfect opportunity to figure out what to do next.
