So after a deciding not to fix things right away and to leave everyone as a nerd for the time being, Karyn and Jon decided to go to school to see what kind of changes their dice rolling had wrought. Just on the way their they were amazed at what they saw. The town seemed cleaner, more organized and more afluent. There wasn't any trash on the ground, there wern't any bums and there wasn't any vandalized property or graffiti. It seemed that as there were no stoners or punks or wastoids or anything else in the town besides nerds, life was better for all. Karyn and Jon didn't know what to make of this. It was a nice side effect but they still wern't certain it was worth having to look and dress and act the way they did now. Not that they were drawing much attention though as they walked to school. They looked very much like everyone else they saw. From the dorky policeman on the corner to the geeky businessman heading to work, everyone seemed to be just as nerdy and strange as they were. By the time they reached the school grounds they were hardly self conscious about their appearences at all anymore.
School as well had changed of course they found. Nerds being the only social strata any longer nerds was all they found. It was very odd. Everyone at the school was now a nerd. Students, teachers, janitors and even the lunch ladies.
"This is (snort) so incredible" Karyn remarked looking around.
"Yeah" Jon agreed and then tugged on her sleeve "And if you like that take a look at this. It's really unbelievable."
