"...going to eat a very, very good sandwich for lunch today."
Nothing happened. Naturally, the wish wouldn't come into effect until lunchtime.
"Hm," Jon thought, "I feel like, with this wishing stone, I could find myself getting into a lot of trouble, and run the risk of not making it to lunch. I wish that all the wishes I just made could not be undone or circum... circulvent.. uh, gotten around. Man, that sandwich is gonna be sweet."
The phone rang. Jon picked up. "Mmmmyello? Luckiest guy in the world, speaking."
"Jon, is that you?" asked a panicked Karyn.
"Uh yeah, what's up?" Jon was a little freaked out.
"Well I was making sandwiches for lunch today - I was gonna surprise you with this incredible sandwich design I read in Modern Sandwich Magazine - when I saw on the news that the school had burned down!"
Jon was shocked. "What kind of sandwich?!"
Wait, no, Jon corrected himself. "It burned down?"
"Yes, Jon," Karyn said, in the midst of a serious crisis, "And I decided to call you because... and I don't want to believe this, BUT, you have a wishing stone. I know this is serious Jon, but I need to know... did you wish for the school to burn down?"
"No!" Jon screamed into the receiver, "I swear I didn't!"
