Jennifer should have been able to change back to Jon. After all, she had interpreted away the "knew what it was like to be helpless girls part". But the biggest problem was making the wish.

The stone was inside both Jennifer and her "sister" and they had to be near each other to make the wish. There was nothing to do but wait--maybe later at dinner or whenever Mom wasn't mad at Josephine.

Suddenly an unfamiliar tune played. Jennifer looked around to find a pink cell phone lying on her desk. She picked it up to see a text message. "(Josephine) Not much time to talk. In bathroom. Got bad grades and Mom is helping me do math in front of her. Ideas?"

"No idea," she typed back. "It's weird having a sister. It's weird being both sisters, even."

Jennifer looked around her room. It had all the things she had seen before. The posters, the schoolwork--though Josephine must have had hers with her. Looking more closely showed that some things existed in multiples. Most of the schoolbooks, some clothes, and of course the beds. It was like the room of the little sisters she never had.

She sat down and thought. The best thing to do would be to just barge into the living room and immediately make a wish. She thought over exactly what she should say.

Jennifer opened the door of her room and walked to where she could hear her mother telling Josephine how to do math problems that she already knew, but would have to pretend to have trouble with. She entered the living room, and walked up to Josephine. "I wish me and my sister are in our room and Mom forgets this wish!"

All of a sudden she was back in her room, and in front of her was her sister. It would have been like looking in a mirror, except that both of them still remembered mirrors as showing Jon, not a 10 year old. "Do I really look like that?" said Jennifer as Josephine was about to say something, perhaps a similar comment.

"Hold on..." said both of them almost at once. Then Jennifer, who had spoken a little sooner, said "Hold on" without being echoed. "Only one of us had better make the wish."

"There really is only one of us," said Josephine. "We just look like two."

"But we think separately," said Jennifer. "Anyway, that's just details. I'll do it." After Josephine didn't disagre, she said "I wish that us two girls are now one guy again."

Nothing happened. "Wait!" said Jennifer. "That should have... Oh, no. I wasn't careful. I wished that me and my sister are in our room. Turning back into Jon would reverse that wish...."
