Eric said "I wish that for the next ten minutes Karyn would be Jon's twin, and that neither would think it strange."
As Eric & Keith watched, Karyn's form shimmered and shifted. Seconds later, there was a second Jon in the room, dressed in identical clothes.
"So How was Mrs. Naylor's Geometry test, Jon?"
"Pretty rough, Jon. You know he goes for that planar stuff."
"Yeah, tell me about it. Wanna play some X-Box? I got that new Warboat 4 game."
"Excellent!"
Eric and Keith watched in fascination as Jon and Karyn-as-Jon played intently for a few minutes, neither gaining an advantage on the other. Then, after precisely ten minutes, one of the Jons blurred, and then Karyn was back to normal.
"Yes! Got you!"
"Aw, you always win these things, Jon."
"Who's your daddy, Karyn?! Ha!"
"Shut up! You're just mad that I aced Mrs. Naylor's test that you only got a b- on last semester."
Eric and Keith looked at each other. "Very good," Eric said. "Neither one noticed anything during or after."
"Now what?" Keith asked. "Change 'em both into Karyn?"
Eric considered this for a moment. "No," he said finally, "I've got n even better idea!"
