They looked at the TV screen and saw both Karyn and Jon sitting on Jon's bed, talking presumably.
"You know, it might be better if we had some sound on this thing," Keith said.
"You know, you're right. I wish we could hear what's going on in Jon's bedroom as well as see it on the TV." The stone flashed. Then, suddenly, they could hear what Karyn and Jon were talking about.
"So," Karyn said on the TV screen, "how do you like getting back to school after that vacation?"
"It's okay. I just like that you're back."
"Oh, thanks, Jon. I missed you too."
Then Eric said "I wish that for the next ten minutes Karyn would ..."
