"I wish that for the next ten minutes Karyn would think that she is a prostitute and Jon is her client."
They looked at the screen, eagerly.
Karyn began to take off her clothes.
On the TV, Jon said "Karyn, what are you doing?"
"Just gonna give you what you want, honey." She stipped all the way down to her underwear and then began taking off her bra. But Jon stopped her.
"Karyn, what's the matter with you?"
"You don't think I'm hot?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Hey, you wanted the sex before, but not now?" She got up off the bed and began getting dressed.
"You were gonna have sex with me?"
"I was, but it's too late, mister. I'll go get fucked by someone else."
"Karyn! What's going on? Why are you acting like some sort of whore?"
"I am a whore. Didn't you know that when you wanted my services?"
"But you're not a ..."
"Forget it, buddy. I'm leaving. You had your chance."
And just as she got to his bedroom door, the ten minutes were up. Karyn wondered why she was leaving. She turned around and saw a look of shock on Jon's face. "Jon? What's wrong?"
"Karyn?" he whispered. "Are ... are you really okay?"
"Why? What's wrong?"
Back at the lab, Eric and Keith watched on as Karyn and Jon tried to make sense of what just happened.
"I want to try something else," Keith said.
"Okay. I'll just clean the slate. I wish that Jon and Karyn wouldn't remember the time when Karyn thought she was a prostitute, but remember that they were just continuing their conversation with each other." The stone flashed.
On the TV, Karyn was still standing next to the door, confused as to why she was leaving Jon's room. She shook it off and went back to sit on the bed and to continue talking to Jon. Neither remembered the prior ten minutes the way they actually happened.
