"Another one?" the burly woman from behind the counter asked. "What exactly are you up to?"

"You don't really need to know. Isn't that right?" Cecil asked.

"Yeah. But I was just curious."

"My business is none of your business. Got it?"

"Yeah, yeah. I got it. Go on and do whatever you want."

Cecil smiled. "I'm glad we could work this out." Then he turned towards Karyn. "Come. The room is this way."

Karyn followed him further into the motel and into a hallway, which had worn-out carpeting on the floor and peeling wallpaper on the walls. This place really was a dump. But at least the rooms were accessible from the inside of the motel and not the outside.

Cecil opened the door with the key that the innkeeper woman gave him and led Karyn inside.

Andy Harris was, to put it mildly, happy with the results of his wish ... especially after he'd thought to crack open his copy of the school yearbook. It seemed to be true that all the girls had gotten a little something extra up top. Even the most flat-chested freshman females had noticeably budding breasts in their photos. And since this was last year's yearbook, that meant those pictures were at least a year old. His pulse quickened at the thought.

He couldn't wait to go back to the well the next day and make more wishes. He briefly thought about leaving that night (instead if waiting), but then decided that he was a little too tired and needed some sleep. He wanted to be clear-headed when he made his wishes.

Zoe opened the front door, not even bothering to make the least bit of noise. After she walked into the house, she saw her mom sitting in the living room, reading a book.

When Zoe's mom heard the door slam shut, she suddenly looked up at her daughter.

Zoe knew that her mom hated it when she slammed the front door, so this was a good initial test to see how her mom would react.

"Oh. Hi, Zoe," her mom said casually, then she went back to reading her book.

Zoe smiled. Then she marched over to her mom and tore the book out of her hands.

Her mom looked up at her and said "You know, I'm kind of tired anyway. I'll just finish reading that tomorrow." Then she stood up and headed upstairs.

Zoe smiled again. She was gonna have a lot of fun with this.
