Mike thought it was a ridiculous concept but he also thought it would be funny to bring it up and talk about what they could do with it if it were real.
He put it aside with his pot stash and forgot about it.
When Joe got there they talked as Joe unpacked. Joe had broken up with Molly over the break. He was aggitated with how they had broken up. She was starting a modeling career and had "no time for silly boys". Joe was pissed off when her realized that he had a box filled with clothing she had ordered on his credit card but never even opened.
"Maybe I can get some money at a thrift store or something." Joe said.
"I don't know if they'll take the lingerie." Mike laughed.
Mike suggested they hit a bar. Joe agreed.
They went to a bar, after a few drinks and a lot of compliaining they started trying to hit on some of the coeds at the bar. Nothing was working.
"They need college courses on understanding women.", Joe laughed after his fifth rejection.
"Yeah," Mike agreed, "Let's get out of this place. I got some weed that should cheer us up."
20 minutes later they were smoking up in the room.
Mike was reloading the bong when he noticed the box with the Medallion.
"Oh yeah, dude, I found something earlier today, should be good for a laugh." Mike said laughing.
Joe opened the box that was handed to him and read over the note.
"Wouldn't this be fun. Just imagine, we could be any guy that had a hot chick and have her for the night. Or shit we could be a couple of girls and hit the showers." Joe thought it was a hilarious idea.
"Shit, if we were girls for a while we could maybe figure out what makes them tick." Mike shot back.
"How about just you as a chick and I could bang you all night with no commitments." Joe thought this was funny as hell.
Mike struck a pose, "In your dreams."
They both fell out laughing.
"So, you tested it yet?" Joe asked.
"Nah man, with what?" Mike said taking a big hit.
Joe ripped open the box of Molly's clothes. "What about these?"
"You are not taking this thing seriously." Mike said holding up the medallion.
Joe threw one of Molly's dresses at Mike. Mike absently caught it.
Joe was laughing so hard he didn't notice the change starting, then when he saw Mike bend over he started laughing harder thinking Mike was pretending.
"Stop man! I can't breathe." Joe said through his laughter.
"What's happening to me?" came a voice that was becoming more feminine.
Joe stopped dead. "What did you say?"
