He quickly puts his hand over her mouth, before whispering in her ear. "We have to be careful about not affecting the timeline."
Karyn scowls but nods her head in agreement. Jon continues on talking to Karyn "We must remember that we are strangers here and should respect the local customs." A quick glance around the bar reminds you that the local customs include prostitution. The daring clothed ladies, well daringly for the time, were standing on the balcony watching the customers at the bar.
No wonder it was unusual for a woman to enter a bar. "I wish I could see your point of view, Jon." Karyn muttered under her breath. Before Jon's eyes she changed into a male cowboy, dressed similarly to him.
The bartender was wiping clean a glass when Karyn flashed and became a man.
"I wish nobody saw me change." Karyn grumbled her new voice being deeper than she now he was used to. Karyn manfully drank her beer down in one and turned his back to the bar. "I wish that sexist barman was a barmaid.", "oh and nobody noticed the change."
Jon started getting worried that Karyn was power mad. "Please remember we have to be careful, we don't know how fragile the past is, if we change too much... well I don't know..."
"I'll be careful, I wish that only Jon and myself were aware of any changes from our wishes, and that nothing we did would affect our future selves."
"Karyn, you can't just keep wishing away like that."
"Don't get your panties in a bunch Jon. I know what I'm doing." She turned back to the bartender, lifting her pretty chin with one finger, "I'll have a scotch, and have yourself something nice too, sweet cheeks." She thrust some bills into the girls gaping cleavage.
A worried look passed over her face, and she grabbed Jon, pulling him over to a quiet table in the corner. Once they sat down she explained, "Jon, I feel odd...."
"Odd how, Karyn?"

"No that sounds like a girls choice for a man's name, I know call me Clint." his smile looked a little feminine even on a man's face.
"Okay Clint, Do you want to sample the ladies?, while we are here." He waved his arm to indicate the whores on the balcony. The corseted and pantalooned figures made Clint blush like a virgin. Which Jon realised she now was. One of them noticed his gesture and waved to them both.
She smiled wickedly before speaking.
