"Come on, Jon," said Karyn. "it's just a wish. You don't really like being a girl between the legs."
"Of course I do. What's the problem? It's not as if anyone can see it."
"Well, you're a guy. Besides, what happens when we get back and nobody remembers you being that way?"
"We don't know that. From this time to back home is in range of the stone, or we couldn't get here. So everyone's memory back home has to be in range of the stone too, right? Second, if that's a problem, I can just wish they remember."
"Look, Jon, you ought to change back."
"Maybe sometime."
"Problems with your girlfriend?" asked the bartender.
"No, no!" said Jon. "I'm a girl, sort of, now. It's a long story."
"You are not," said Karyn, "going to have a nice girl to girl chat with the bartender when you were guys until a minute ago and the only part that changed was your family jewels. Let's get out of here." Karyn got up and left. Jon, knowing Karyn had the stone, didn't have much choice but to follow.
"Give me the stone!" yelled Jon. "It is mine, you know."
Karyn tossed it at Jon. "Catch. But I don't get it. We're in a mess and you don't even realize it. But I guess it's my fault... Sigh. Where do you want to go next? We can visit some more of the West or pick another time. Maybe even go home to see if everyone remembers you that way."
Jon caught the stone and then answered Karyn. "Yeah, why don't we...."
