When he could look at himself again, after the momentary compulsion to turn his head, Jon was a little disappointed. He didn't look that different, just like a female version of himself. His hips were a little wider and waist a little thinner, things around seemed just a bit bigger, and he had breasts - kind of on the small side.
There were a few other changes too, but more noticable was that his clothing had shifted along with him. The new girl was still wearing jeans, but cut to fit a female body, and a bit more low-rise and hip-hugging that he would expect. The waistband of his, no - her panties would peek above the waistband of her jeans. Her red shirt was a bit tighter, more formfitting, a 'babydoll' style tee, that flattered her smallish bust, and showed the shadow of a bra beneath.
"Well, I'm still me," he thought. He could change to become the most gorgeous girl in the school, but he decided not to. He wanted to know what it was like to be a girl, not to be a special girl. Looking around her room, she noticed that only a few things had changed. There were bras in the dresser, of course, and Jon was barely noticeable as female in an old picture of her and her parents at Disney World, but not a lot had changed. She had some dresses and skirts, but not too many--as a girl, she must still prefer to dress in clothes that guys could wear. And looking around the room, she saw that her hobbies and interests had stayed mostly the same. She even still had her calendar with pictures of fast cars.
One thing that was different, though, was that as a girl, Jon had been keeping a diary. She picked it up, and wondered if she should read it or just go out as a girl.
