Sarah looked at herself in the mirror, making sure she looked her best. Tonight was her first big date with Karyn and she didn't want to mess it up. She wanted it to be a night to remember.
She remembered the day she pronounced her love to Karyn - it was the day before spring break. Karyn was stunned, but then told Sarah that she had a secret love for her as well. They both revealed that they were lesbians and tried their best to keep this a secret from their friends and family. But now that they had both found each other, they felt relieved. They could talk about things they always wanted to tell their friends, but were always afraid of rejection.
Sarah put the finishing touches on her make-up and grabbed her cellphone.
Karyn's cellphone suddenly started ringing. She looked at it and saw Sarah's name on the phone ID. The phone rang a little longer before she finally forced herself to answer it.
Afterward, Jon asked what Sarah wanted.
"I'm supposed to be going on a date with her tonight. What am I going to do? She really thinks she loves me!"
