Meanwhile, Jon was laying in his bed, tossing and turning. He couldn't get to sleep, he was excited and nervous for his big date tomorrow. He had had a crush on Karyn since they were kids, he waited forever for her to ask him out. He even wished he could ask her out himself, but boys just didn't do that.

In all this excitement, he had somehow completely forgotten about the rock. Then he remembered, he had never figured out what Karyn had wished for. He smiled slyly, as he lifted his pink blankets off of him and climbed out of bed. He turned on the light and found the rock right where Karyn had left it, on his vanity, right next to his purse. He picked it up and said, "I wish I knew what Karyn wished for." There was a flash, and a look of shock filled Jon's face. This was impossible! Karyn had wished for the genders to exchange stereotypes?! Jon couldn't even imagine such a mixed up world! He was a boy, and like all boys, he loved wearing make-up and doing his hair, going shopping for clothes, gossiping with the other boys about all the handsome girls at school... He always dreamed of his wedding day, and wearing his father's old wedding dress, and one day raising babies while his wife went off to earn for the family.

He didn't know what to do, he had lived in this reality his whole life, and what supposedly was the REAL reality, he wanted nothing to do with! He didn't wanna have short hair or never get to wear dresses or make-up... He didn't want to watch or play sports, that was women stuff! And he was attracted to the girls in this reality, he knew he wouldn't be attracted to seeing a girl all dolled up like a boy... Then, he knew he wanted to see some proof. He saw the photo from homecoming several month ago on his vanity. It was him and Karyn. They had both gone stag, but decided to have their picture taken "as a joke". Karyn stood behind him, her arms around his waist. She was in a suit a tie, her short hair combed neatly. Jon was in a silky red dress, his hair done up. He remembered how proud he was of his make-up job that night. Karyn looked so handsome, he thought.

He held the rock again and said, "I wish this photo would be the photo from Karyn's original reality". Again, a flash, and as he feared, it was now Jon standing behind Karyn, with his arms around her waist. He was now in a suit and tie, wore no make-up, and had short hair. Karyn was in a dress, not the same as his, but just as fancy, her hair was long and she had curled it for the event, and she had make-up on.

Jon dropped the photo, it looked like they were in Halloween costumes to him... He had to decide what to do... Confront Karyn about it, wish that the old reality never existed, or something else...
