Karyn wasn't sure what to expect about Zoe, would she still be goth? Then she realized that the goth look wouldn't fit in with what used to a stereotypical male, and she entered the room wearing baggy jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt that said, "Be A Woman!" with a picture of a football player on it.
"Yo, Karyn!" Zoe said, greeting her with a friendly punch on the arm. "I'm glad you're having dinner with us, good to have another woman to talk to. I hate when mom works late, I gotta spend the whole meal listening to these boys talk about shoes and going to the mall and all that wussy guy stuff."
"But I like shoes!" said Mikey, looking down at his Mary Janes.
"ALL boys like shoes, dear." Roger reassured his young son. "Sorry our conversations don't stimulate you, Zoe. At least we don't talk about boring stuff like sports scores and cars like you women do."
All the kids sat down around the table while Roger served them. Then he took off his apron and prepared to sit down himself. Beneath the apron he wore a typical househusband dress in a floral pattern, black heels, and a pearl necklace with matching earrings. His hair was styled in a bob, and a little bit of make-up.
Just then, they heard the front door open and heard Jon's mom, Lynda's, voice call, "Honey, I'm home!" She walked into the room, kissed her husband on the cheek and greeting everyone at the table. She was wearing a grey suit and a red tie, her large bra-less breasts bouncing slightly as she sat down in her chair at the head of the table. "So, how was everyone's day?" she asked.
As much as Karyn was enjoying witnessing all this, she really wanted to get out and see how the rest of the world looked, maybe even decide to make more wishes. She decided she would wait until after dinner and then ask Jon if he wanted to go for a walk through town. If his mother approved, that is. She knew in this reality, mothers protected their delicate sons from girls with only one thing on their minds.
After dinner...
