"Karyn, I'm sooo excited!" Jon squealed in his girly voice. "C'mon, I gotta get some new clothes, I have, like, nothing to wear!"
He grabbed Karyn by the hand and they ran into a women's clothing store. Karyn was afraid of that, this would draw some unwanted attention.
"Um, Jon? Wouldn't you rather shop in one of the men's clothing stores?"
Jon looked confused, "My name is Janet, and why would I wanna do that?"
Karyn wondered if she should make a wish to make it so no one thought it was strange for Jon to be shopping for clothes here. Then she thought if she did that, it would probably turn Jon into a girl. Jon meanwhile had already picked out several party dresses and asked the clerk where the dressing rooms were. The woman looked at him funny, but pointed them out anyway. Karyn watched as Jon modeled several dresses, before decided to buy them all. He paid for them and decided he'd wear one home. He also bought some makeup and applied it as if he'd been doing it his whole life.
As they walked through the mall, there was many reactions, some laughed, some looked disgusted. Some kids taunted him, some adults whispered derogatory insults. Karyn finally held the rock and whispered, "I wish that as long as Jon remains like this, it's accepted that boys can wear dresses, makeup, and speak in high voices."
There was a flash, and all the people stopped staring at Jon. Matter of fact, now most of the men and boys in the mall were wearing makeup and dresses, and speaking in falsettos. But the wish had an odd side effect, because now all the women were wearing pants. "Oh, no." said Karyn, then quickly slapped her hand over her mouth, as she realized her voice was now several octaves lower. Karyn realized she had to somehow convince Jon to try asking out more girls to get everything back to normal... But he seemed so excited about his date...
