Taking The Pills

"Well done, Jon!" taunted Karyn as her ex-friend exited the drug store, a box of potent female hormones in hand. "I'm glad that you've publicly admitted your desire to become a woman; it will make the coming transition so much easier."
Jon smiled as best he was able; he knew in his heart that he deserved every terrible thing that Karyn was doing to him--it was still nothing compared to the sins for which ''he'' needed to atone. But at the same time, he didn't want this, Not at all. But he knew that if he was to have any chance whatsoever of getting Karyn back as his friend, it would be by doing exactly what she said.
"Anything for you," he said.
"Is that so? Time to put your money where your mouth is, Jon. Time to take your first pill."
Jon tried with every fibre of his being to prevent from grimacing at the prospect. But a man has to do what a man has to do; gingerly, he popped one of the small pink capsules from its sheet, and gazed at it in disgust. Time to pay the piper, he thought.
"Hold on Jon," said Karyn, just as was on the cusp of placing the pill inside his mouth. For the briefest of instants, Jon thought that maybe, just maybe, he was done. That the entire demand that he go to a pharmacy and buy female hormones was nothing more than a secret test of character on Karyn's part to see if Jon was loyal enough that he would actually go through with it.
But no.
Karyn instead held up the wishing rock and said, "I wish that the feminizing effects of the pill would be completely permanent--to the point where not even magic could ever reverse them."
Jon gazed at her in horror.
"Just in case you thought that you'd only need to put up with this until I forgive you...if I forgive you." Karyn said seriously. "I'm doing this because I want you to understand that there are consequences to your actions...consequences which can't just be wiped away by wishes. Now...are you sorry, or not."
Jon sighed. Yes, he thought I am.
With that he raised the pill to his lips. He hoped during each microsecond of this act that Karyn would reach in to stop him- that it really was nothing but an extremely hardcore test of his loyalty- but it was not to be. He was on a conveyor belt to womanhood and nothing would save him now.
He put the pill in his mouth, chewed it and swallowed it.
Karyn smiled, as genuinely as he had seen her smile since he had betrayed her. "Congratulations Jon," she said. "One small step for a man, one giant leap towards being a woman."
Jon for his part, wanted desperately to vomit it up. But his traitor body did not respond. The pill was inside of him, it's hormones being rapidly absorbed by his body. Within a few days, he knew, the changes would become noticeable.
