Once he stopped talking, Karyn took an instant to come to terms with everything he said. "So you want to know what I remember, right?" She thought back to these five minutes. "Well, to make it simple, the stone didn't work. You began to panic, and wishing for other things that didn't work. I tried to calm you, saying we could live without it and..." She hesitated. She had admitted to Jon, and to herself at the same time, that she liked her new boobs so he wouldn't culpabilise. But this Jon wasn't the same she had talked with and he probably didn't know. She decided he didn't need to and quickly changed subject. "Anyway, you calmed down a little and you told me to watch the lipstick if he would change after the five minutes, to see if the wish would do anything now that the time limit was up. And that's it, you came back from wherever the wish took you while I was watching the lipstick." She took way less time to explain that Jon did, but she was still recovering from the what happened. She also had "omitted" a few things that she wanted to keep for herself.

"So you're saying everything was normal except the stone didn't work?"

"Well, normal isn't exactly how I'd describe it, but yes."

Jon was silent a moment. Karyn was still a little stressed after what happened and didn't think she could take another of his "test" this evening. This was enough emotion for one day.

"I can't think of why the stone would stop working for you, it doesn't make sense." Jon's voice interrupted her thoughts.

"Are you sure it still work at all?" Karyn immediately regretted having said that, she didn't want any more wish. She quickly added. "Just include me in the wish this time, please."

"Sure, I'll make a quick test, but i think I'll change something in my room. You probably won't notice anything anyway."

"Just do it, please."

"Alright, I wish Karyn was included in my next wish as if she heard it directly from me." There was a pause. "The stone flashed so it must work, but just to be sure... I wish my socks were blue for 10 seconds... And they are!"

Karyn breathed a sigh of relief. She did not want to console Jon again if it didn't. She the realized something. "Can't you just wish to know how the stone work?" It was simple but she hadn't thought of that until now.

"I thought about that but I didn't want to mess with my mind. What if there is a massive info dump and it fries my brain?"

Karyn couldn't help but laugh at that. "You watch too much science-fiction."

"Maybe... But I still don't want to take the risk."

"Then how about that? You wish to have a sign every time you say something false about the stone. That way, we can know if what we think is true or not."

"That's... a pretty good idea, actually."

"Don't forget to include me again!" She reminded Jon.

"I wish Karyn was included in every wish I make tonight as of now, as if she heard it directly from me. That should take care of it."

"Thank you!"

"And now, I wish that every time I say something wrong about the stone..."
