(Author's notes : I let the original chapter write itself and it somehow ended up like this, but I can't think of any way to continue it that I would enjoy writing right now. So I'm making this alternative one that will hopefully come closer to my initial idea.)

After hearing the wish, Karyn looked at her lipstick. She didn't see anything different, it was the same sensual red as before.
"So? Did it change color?" Asked Jon, eager to know the results.
"Not that I can see, it is still the same red as bef..." Karyn stopped herself. She remembered the lipstick being red, but also Jon wishing it was red, and it dawned on her that maybe her memories did indeed change. "Wow... That's weird. I remember you wishing it was red, so I think it wasn't but I can't remember it being any other color."
"I can assure you it wasn't red before." He seemed a little too excited. "Do you remember what color it was?"
"No, not at all. I remember it being red and you teasing me about it, saying it would look sexy on me." Karyn blushed a little saying that. "Are you saying it didn't happen?"
Jon laughed a little. "I definitively teased you, but I wasn't saying it looked sexy. It was pink and I called you girly."
Karyn's blush deepened, it was even worse than what she remembered. "I am kinda happy I don't remember that..."
That made Jon laugh even more. "Don't worry, once the wish wears off, you will remember all of it."
"Wait. That means I won't remember these five minutes?"
"That's another thing I want to see, you will probably have your memories as if I didn't make a wish. But you knew what the wish was, so what will you think happened?"
"I didn't even think about that... You really think too much!"
"I guess we will see soon. It's almost time."
Karyn concentrated once more on her lipstick, determined to see the transformation this time.
"It should be right about... Now!" Declared Jon while Karyn was looking at her lipstick as if she wanted to make it explode with her mind. Despite her best efforts, however, she could only see the same pink lipstick she had before.
"It's not working. It's still pink!"
"I did work! The lipstick was red for a few minutes, you just don't remember because you didn't hear it." Jon then proceeded to explain what happened. He seemed really excited about this, and Karyn didn't blame him, she probably would be too if she was in his place.
Once he stopped talking, Karyn took an instant to come to terms with everything he said. "So you want to know what I remember, right?" She thought back to these five minutes. "Well..."
