"Why would she think that taking that pencil and paper would mean anything?" Karyn asked.
"Sarah doesn't think, Karyn. That's why I love her so much," Jon said. "So, are you going to tell me what you wished for, or what?"
Karyn thought about it, then said "I made Sarah your sex slave."
"What? That can't be. I vividly remember picking her out at the pet store. She's been my slave for years."
"But you know how the stone works."
He did. And as hard as it was to believe, he knew that what Karyn was saying was probably the truth.
"Did you put a time limit on it?" Jon asked, hoping that she hadn't. He loved having Sarah as his sex slave.
"No. I made it so I'd have to make another wish to reverse it."
"Well, I hope you never do," Jon said.
"You can't mean that," Karyn said, a little shocked.
"And why not? My life in this reality may be the result of a wish, but it's all I know. And I want to keep it."
Karyn squeezed the stone in her hand. It looked like Jon was going to be a problem.
