"The stone probably has my memories altered so I wouldn't be able to tell anyways."
Sarah looked at Karyn and Master, uncomprehending. What was that about wishes changing her relationship with her master? She knew that she wasn't particularly intelligent, one of the things that attracted Master to her, but she definately remembered always being his sex slave. She remembered being purchased from the store for her master. She remembered coming home with him, picking out her slave collar and her slave bed. Master was her love, her all.
Karyn was still talking. Karyn and Master were both using a lot of big words she didn't understand, but it sounded like Karyn was going to take her away from her Master. No! Sarah couldn't allow that to happen! She couldn't be separated from the man she loved! She had to do something. The pencil and paper that Karyn had seemed to be important somehow, though she didn't know why. Perhaps if Sarah took the paper and pencil and hid them, Karyn couldn't take Master away from her. Sarah darted forward, snatching the paper and pencil from Karyn's hands and dashed out of the room.
"Oh, no," she heard Karyn say. "Sarah's got the pencil. Why'd she do that, Jon. She doesn't understand how wishes work. Who knows what damage she could do through sheer ignorance. Get her back here before she does something stupid with it."
"Bad, Sarah," yelled Jon. "Get back here with that pencil." But Sarah was out of earshot and, not having heard her master, couldn't be expected to obey his orders. Sarah continued to run, thinking of all the places she could hide the pencil and paper until she could figure out what to do with them. Perhaps she could use them to make Karyn keep Master and her together somehow.
