"Well, I'd have to meet her first, but from what you said about her, she sounds like a cool girl," Jon said. He put down the stone, as he gathered some things to bring along with him to the Burger Bunker. And then Karyn picked it up.
She went into the hallway and made a wish. "I wish that Paul Smithers was a real boy who went to my school. Also, I wish that I was dating Paul. And I wish that Paul had a cousin named Carla." She let out a sigh of relief. She didn't like lying to Jon (her fake phone call was pretty elaborate), but now she didn't have to. Now, both Paul and Carla existed.
Jon's bedroom door opened and he came out. "Karyn? You weren't wishing for something, were you?"
"Uh ... no. I was thinking about it, but ..."
"Maybe we should keep the stone here. You did say you wanted to live life as normal. Having a magic stone around isn't very normal."
"I guess you're right," she replied. Although, she really wanted more time to describe Paul. Thanks to her wish, she was now dating him, but she knew nothing about him. It was like she was going on a blind date.
