Finally Maisy decided to risk it, she found some clothes, flat shoes jeans and a blouse she got dressed quick. She also found the stone and the note from her grandfather and packed it in a bag. Finally scooping David up and dressing his she popped him in the car along with supplies and spare clothes and left to find Karyn.
At Karyns house she was shocked to find out that Karyns mom had never heard of her, disheartened she left deciding to try Sarah's house.
Sarah was happy to see Maisy and David, she had been hoping all day that a woman with a baby might appear and screamed "Jon?" From her window and ran down to him. "Sarah I don't know how you changed back but you need to fix us" Maisy asked angrily, "It's me Karyn, Sarah became a witch, didn't you see the news? She has a big tower on the edge of town, quick come in"
Maisy and Sarah sat chatting, when David started to scream, "can't you use the stone?" Sarah asked, "it's in the car with the milk and extra clothes, I best get it or he will be crying all night." Maisy replied heading to the door.
Opening the front door Maisy was shocked, a group of monkeys was on her car, broken glass scattered across the floor. "no no no" she shouted running towards them, they flew away, but a quick look in the car confirmed her fears. "the stone" they had taken everything.
Maisy returned to Sarah and a screaming baby, "She took it" Maisy said sollem and sat on the bed. "Did they at least leave the milk for David?" Karyn asked.
Maisy just sighed and unbuttoned her blouse.
